Got end-of-summer peaches are here? Let’s preserve our love for the season and make jam! It’s pretty simple. Think beyond toast. You can use this Homemade Peach Jam recipe over top grilled fish and meats, on gluten-free pancakes, atop ice cream sundaes, or as a classic spreadable jam. Fill large pot with water and bring to a boil.
Gently place peaches in boiling water for about 45 seconds.
Take them out with a slotted spoon and place them in a large bowl of cold water. Once you the peaches are cool enough to handle, peel and slice peaches. Discard peach pits. Note:(all peaches may not fit into your pot and that’s okay. Do 5-10 at a time).
Place all ingredients in a large pot. Let stand for 1 hour. Then bring to a boil for 25 minutes.
After your mixture comes to a boil stir continuously.
Remove from heat. If you see foam on top, skim with a spoon and remove it.
Ladle into clean hot jars leaving 1/4 inch from the top. Put lids on jars.
Set jars into a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
Cool and enjoy. Keep refrigerated.
