Method
  1. Add all ingredients—except honey and sea salt—into your slow cooker.
  2. Add water if needed to cover your ingredients. Cook for 6 hours.
  3. Then use an immersion blender to puree the soup. Add honey and sea salt to taste. Stir well. Serve and enjoy!

Note: If the Anise Stars do not break up during the puree’ simply remove them before serving.
